Singapore, 3 June 2014 - Local media agency The Media Shop is expanding into Oceania with a new office in Sydney after its reappointment as agency of record for CA Technologies.
The expansion follows a period of growth for the agency which opened its first overseas office in Taiwan last July.
The Sydney office is led by new hire Tim Stanford who joins The Media Shop with over 13 years of experience in new media innovation, strategic account management and client servicing. Stanford will report to regional business director, Jessica Toh.
Stanford (pictured) was last head of business development at Scan2List. He has also worked in Sapient Nitro, Fairfax digital and other companies in the past.
“The Media Shop has proven their worth as an independent agency with a track record of regional campaigns run for blue chip companies – and clients are sitting up and noticing. I’m thrilled to join them at such an exciting juncture,” said Stanford.
“More companies are focusing their resources on digital marketing and Stanford’s strengths in this area are an asset for us as we plan our expansion into Oceania,” Toh added.
The Media Shop is an independent boutique agency based in Singapore and focused on the Asian market. Founded in 2009, the agency offers media planning and buying services.
