FireEye appoints The Media Shop as media agency for APJ campaign

Singapore, 31 May 2013 - Global network security company FireEye Incorporated has appointed The Media Shop as its media agency for a regional campaign that will commence their advance into the Asia Pacific.

The agency will be responsible for media planning and buying activities across traditional and digital media for the campaign.

The campaign comes on the back of growing demand for FireEye products in the Asia Pacific and Japan, coinciding with the establishment of its first customer support centre servicing the APAC region in Singapore. FireEye’s expansion into the region includes the opening of a research and development centre in Bangalore and sales offices in Japan, Korea, Australia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Malaysia over the past two years.

To highlight FireEye’s Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) detection capabilities, a yearlong integrated campaign will be launched across CBSi networks. The campaign will entail the launch of a dedicated micro-site and a series of round table discussions held in Singapore, Korea, and Australia, involving senior decision makers and analysts across the industry. Business director of The Media Shop, Jessica Toh, says, “We are honoured to be entrusted with FireEye’s media planning and buying duties during this critical juncture in their expansion plans.” The Media Shop was shortlisted for two awards, Media Agency of the Year and Local Hero, at the recent Marketing Magazine Awards. TMS has previously run campaigns for CA Technologies, BOSCH Home Appliances and fast food restaurant Long John Silvers’.
